The pool sweep is phenomenal. It cleans the pool walls up to the waterline and it’s easy to dump and clean. The Black Max I have was great, but the Quattro exceeds all expectations.
It's an exceptional pool cleaner, it quickly cleans and scrubs the tile line. I have had issues with it getting stuck on stairs and not being able to handle the excess live oak leaves in the spring. If you live in the south you know what I'm talking about. It's a lot of leaves not sure any pool cleaner can do the job. Persistence in emptying the bag/container is the only way I've been able to keep up with this month each year.
Works really well covering the entire pool, including steps and walls. Easy to empty and clean. Only request would be a bigger debris canister, especially towards the fall when more leaves get in the pool.
I've owned several Polaris pool cleaners, including, most recently, the Model 270. The Quattro Sport represents a vast technological improvement over the 270, ranging from the micro filter/debris capture system (which is similar to the systems found on house robot vacuums) to the auto reverse mechanism (which is necessary for the cleaner get around unexpected obstructions in the pool). Quattro Sport replaced an existing Polaris 380 and was an improvement in several ways. It was significantly easier to clean out captured debris from the unit, and the design of the container seems likely to last much longer than the bag on the old unit which should save money over time. The new Polaris provided better coverage than the previous unit, doing a much better job of cleaning debris on water surface against the tile that the old unit typically missed, and it also accessed the pool steps much better. I have been a satisfied Polaris user for several years; however, this unit far exceeds any expectations. It outpaces other units in four important ways: It is faster; it picks up debris more efficiently, it is easier to empty debris baskets, and it travels and scrubs the sides of the pool. I have but one reservation and it is my own fault: I should have ordered another length of hos to reach the extreme corner of the pool. This is a great cleaner! It picks up fine dirt and sand like no other cleaner we've had. And it covers every inch of the pool. It's great!
It is the best pool Cleaner I have ever owned. Throw the brush away and let the Quattro do the work for you. Great Machine!
Best cleaner we’ve ever had. Was amazed at how well it did. When we first opened it up thought it was big and bulky and didn’t think it was going to be that good of a cleaner but boy were we wrong. We have a large pool that is 18 x 36 and it can run the whole length of the pool in the center of the walls as straight as an arrow. This was totally amazing to us. Definitely is a top notch cleaner. If your in the market for a new pool cleaner this should be on the top of your list.
