The pool cleaner was slow, would not move for an hour. Would not cover the whole pool area. Would go to the same places all the time. I would not recommend this pool cleaner. When the warranty expires, I will be purchasing a different pool cleaner
Paid around $1000 for this machine and made the purchase based on store reps recommendation. Within the first year, the cleaner stopped working properly. Gear box was replaced under warranty. Now, two years later it has stopped working again. Took it in for repairs and I am being told it needs $600+ in new parts to make it clean properly. Very disappointed with this overpriced cleaner. Terrible value. Will not consider purchasing again.
How do you keep the hose line going to the Polaris from kinking up and not letting the Polaris from cleaning 50% of the pool ?
Since purchasing my Polaris Quattro from Leslie's Pool Service about 2 years ago I've paid to have every mechanical moving part, tires and hose connections replaced, and it still doesn't climb the pool walls as it use to. What's most frustrating is some of the parts have been replaced twice at my expense. Once your cleaner is out of warranty and you need new parts to replace parts you have already bought and replaced, they are not covered under any warranty as well. In other words, this pool cleaner will become a costly m... read more
Our Polaris Quattro Sport is complete garbage. We’ve owned it less than two years. Three pool companies cannot figure out why it won’t work properly. It only moves to the right in circles. It will only go to the deep end. It will not climb the walls. It gets stuck constantly.
I was hoping that for the cost of this sweeper that I wouldn’t have to manually vacuum the pool. Unfortunately, I still have to manually vacuum the dirt/sand in the pool!
Bought my quattro a couple years ago. It worked great until a few months of use when it broke a wheel axle. I was told that they made stronger axles and it was under warranty so there was no charge to replace it. This was just the beginning of failures to come and now it’s out of warranty. Since being out of warranty I’ve had to replace the front brush gears (one of them twice) another axle and the tires because when it try’s to clime my pool walls the tires just spin and it won’t climb the sides. I was told that if I change... read more
I will have to echo the sentiments of those who say works great when operational but mine has had to go in for repairs frequently. Unfortunately my warranty is up and I just took mine in for repairs. The cost to fix it adds up to the cost of a new one. I will forgo fixing it and instead buy a more reliable cleaner to replace it.
When it works it is an impressive vac, but it just does not last. I have owned one for over three years and have had warranty work on the unit every year. Leslie’s performed the work – gears had to be replaced every year; the unit would hardly move. It is currently not working (same thing – will hardly move) and will need to be taken back to Leslie’s for repair. I use the backup I own before I bought the Quattro every year, the three wheeled Polaris 250, which we have named “old reliable”. The problem with the 250 is removi... read more
