The Quattro is a welcome improvement over other models of pressure-side cleaners. This cleaner covered my entire pool and kept every inch clean. Construction is solid, and there seems to be fewer parts subject to wear and replacement. (With my Polaris 280, I felt like I was continually replacing tires, wheels, bearings, etc., and even when brand new, the cleaning capability was less than the Quattro's.) This cleaner is state of the art, The new architecture is revolutionary, no whip to get worn down, or spray water all over the pool area and ease of removing all the collected debris is second to none. The ability to climb the walls and get even some of the steps of the pool is amazing. It seems to have a magnetic attraction to the surface of the pool sides and bottom, as it can go anywhere in the water. Simple the best cleaner. This cleaner not only picks up leaves and debris but even picks up the fine grit and filters pollen out of the water. The large basket and filter are easy to clean - Just hose off. Maybe this is wrong, But I just leave my in the pool most of the time. John in the Philadelphia area.
The Polaris Quattro exceeded expectations. Our old cleaner used to get stuck behind the bar stools every single day, the Quattro rarely got stuck. Our pool was affected by a wildfire with so much ash the pool was black. Within a week of the power being restored the Quattro and the filter managed to return the pool to sparkling clear. Highly recommend the Quattro.
We have a glass-tile pool, which presents challenges to most cleaners. The Quattro Sport, fitted with its optional tires, performs exceptionally well. It covers the entire floor surface, and climbs about halfway up the walls. Its frequent, zero-radius turning allows it to clean the pool in roughly half the time it used to take the previous cleaner. My key recommendation would be to increase the size of the baskets to allow it to handle more debris before having to be emptied.
Cleans very well and handles the pool stairs way better than other models / brands have in the past. The Quattro also does a noticeably better job on the pool walls and waterline area.
This is by far the best pool cleaner I've ever had. The most expensive too, but it does a great job. I have had a open kidney-shaped pool for 20 years and my previous Polaris 360s and a 280 did a pretty good job of cleaning it, maybe 80% coverage. I thought that was about as good as it got, then I got the Q Sport 7 months ago and it just cleans the pool. Normally, 2 hours a day is plenty for it. It gets the walls, the bottom, done. This blows away every other pool cleaner I've owned. Gets every leaf, scrubs the whole pool, never gets stuck. Easy to clean out (no more disgorging "owl pellets" from the filter bag), and the double wire meshes never need replacing. A fire-and-forget missile for pool maintenance.
Amazing cleaner! Picks up everything from fine sand to heavy large leaves. The large filters hold a lot of debris and are extremely easy to remove and clean. This cleaner does a great job of staying on the surface of the pool walls and floors.
