I love that the Polaris is easy to hook up and take out of the pool. What is more, the debris that it pucks up does not go directly to my cartridge filter but into a mesh bag that is easy and simple to clean out. In our prior pools, we had a pool vac that sucked up all the debris and clogged up my filter. I would definitely recommend this pool vac.

Does a good job covering the whole pool floor. It never gets stuck around the steps like my Jet Vac did. It's got good motion and suction.

Had many Polaris 280’s for years, this is what my pool store sold me. It appears very similar to the 280 with a different internal vacuum system. Overall it performs about the same my last 280 only made it about 5/6 years not like the much older models that would last 10/15 years. It does appear to have a somewhat stronger vacuum system but is it “better” than the 280? Time will tell.

Purchased as a replacement to my 11 yr old Polaris 280. Ordered online from local pool supply store. Easy pick up and installation. Working like a champ!

The Polaris TR28P pool cleaner appears to work pretty well. However, after running it two hours yesterday, I noticed some debris that was in the deep end when cleaning started was still there. The ungotten debris is the reason for 4 stars and not 5. Other times, the cleaner got it all.
