Works great This stopped our polaris from spraying outside of the pool and trashing our windows.
I hope it's sturdy I just installed today. It is a plastic piece and I'm hoping that it will hold up and not break or work off the Polaris. It does seem to reduce the spray volume from the tail sweep.
good product easy to install
No more splashes! Super happy with this purchase! Cuts down on "across the yard and hits our window" splashes we had with the regular nozzle end on our polaris unit. It's more like a burp that stays within the coping of our pool's border tile! Yay! Purchasing more for future use!

Replace Wear Rings at Same Time I bought this after my pool cleaner shot a jet of saltwater on my TV and fried it. The first one lasted about a month before it just wouldn't stay on the hose. I kept finding it in my filter bag. So, I was hesitant to order another but I did and this time, I read the instructions. I ended up ordering new wear-rings to install right before the junction where the Tailsweep attaches to the hose. That fixed the issue. Little or no wear in pools with a smoother surface Purchased six based on short life span or excessive wear reviews. It has been about six months and I still have the original tailsweep on the tail of the polaris with very little if any wear with an avg. daily pump run of six hrs . It's probably because I have a 30,000 gal. inground gunite pool which was resurfaced with fiberglass.
Great add on Works great to reduce the Polaris sweep tail from creating occasional geysers. Very easy to install just snap it on. Highly recommended if you have a Polaris pool vac
