Works but won't stay on hose It does reduce water spray on the deck and seems to improve pool sweep motion but it simply won't stay on the hose. Clip design does not work.
PHENOMENAL COSMIC PRICETAG, itty-bitty benefit. It's two inches of foam wrapped around a tiny piece of plastic. C'mon Polaris, just include this in all the cleaners. Especially since the only thing it actually does better than the standard tail is provide more aggressive action (that is, until the tiny vents in it become so clogged with debris that it just follows limply behind the cleaner.)Better tail action? Ehhhhhhh I have my Polaris 280 for 2 years and my cat stopped going outside because she feared the water shooting randomly out of the pool and last summer a sliding glass door got ruined by water spots when the polaris would shoot water on a window when it was 100 degrees out. I finally purchased this and was super underwhelmed. I feel like after installing the water spray is weaker and moves debris less. Doesn't last long We bought a house with a pool and immediately noticed the windows are continually sprayed by our Polaris cleaner that we nicknamed 'Rover'. We brought Rover into the local pool shop to find out how to remedy this issue and they sold us the Polaris Tail Sweep and attached it for us. They moved the little weights around and checked out our Rover while they were at it.The Tail Sweep ALMOST eliminates that spraying issue which I was happy about.
