like the original Polaris It replaced the Polaris 180 which was the original equipment for our in ground 20x40 pool that functioned perfectly for 23 years. We have a DE filter and the pool remains spotlessly clean as this unit, like the original Polaris, not only covers every inch of the pool floor but climbs the walls as well.
