Great deal. This is the second one of these that I bought in the past 3 months. The first I bought I gave as a gift to my nephew and bought it from Leslie's online and paid about 150.00 more for the very same one that I later got from Amazon Prime for myself to replace my worn out one that I've had for 10 years. I am very pleased with this product. Just wish I had found Amazon Prime sooner!
Polaris Vac-sweep 280 Pressure Side Pool Cleaner Easy to setup. Almost nothing to it. Just follow directions in box and in a few minutes the Polaris is in the Pool working great. Just one thing that no one mentioned, which happened to us, the cleaner has a tendency to get stuck behind the ladder in the deep end of the pool. After checking the setup and troubleshooting steps, we found it still kept getting stuck. So you might want to consider ordering part #G-21 Polaris ladder guards which block the area and solve the problem... read more

Polaris 280 Had one previously and it was good so I chose to stick with what I know works. It is again very good and would buy again. It cleans as none other. Even goes up the steps and walls.GREAT.

Most durable and best designed pool vacuum Zodiac hit a home-run when they developed this particular 280 model many, many years ago. I think they know it too as they still offer this same model, despite them trying to push newer, fancier and sleeker versions (which also happen to be more expensive). CLEANS EXCELLENT I already had the Polaris 180 that lasted for over 15 years with minor repairs and replacement parts. This upgrade is twice as good. We did have to cut off some of the cord to accommodate our size and cut back on the intake valve but the directions are excellent in helping you figure all that out. We also ordered a zodiac k14 sand and silt bag replacement bag to pick up small debris and sand. It only comes with a leaf bag which picks up larger trash in pool. PERFECT! If you have a Polaris 280 and need to replace it....LOOK NO FURTHER! Besides the awesome price, this bad boy came COMPLETE!!! Hoses, swivels, floats, back-up valve, debris bag....EVERYTHING! It also came updated. My old sweep had a mesh filter that fit into the end of the hose. The new sweep has a clear fitting with the mesh filter inside making it easy to see when maintenance is necessary.
