Excellent product: Polaris 280 I had a Polaris 280 for years that was so old the plastic started breaking down from exposure and old age. I ordered the same 280 model because the 280 is just a work-horse requiring very little maintenance (when I'm not replacing 5-10 year old parts off it). Our pool-guy installed the new 280 for me, sizing the feeder hose correctly, and making small adjustments to the 280 itself. I'm very happy! Manual labor saver --- Wow, what a difference it makes to pool maintenance. So far works wonderful...goes up sides real neat, quite quickly and moves around. entire pool size @ 30K gal.
New Cleaner This is a great cleaner after I looked at the other newer models and reading other reviews about them I decided to just replace my 15 year old 280 with a new 280 we are just hoping that we get half that much mileage out of the new one we will be super pleased.
Because everyone needs a good hoovering I bought this because our 180 broke. This is a nice piece of equipment. Definitely the subject of envy of all my friends. Plus it frees up time for me to stand against the jets.

works fine worked well right out of the box. Just plugged it into the wall, turned on the pump and away it went. It takes about 20 min to vac our 30x15 foot kidney shaped pool. Hopefully, it will last as well as the last one did
First Polaris pool clear and extremely happy Replaced my old Hayward Viper unit with this Polaris 280. I looked at all the Polaris models and decided based on reviews that this model was the best option with respect to both quality/reliability and price. The cleaner was very easy to install and cleans very well. I added the tail sweep pro to keep water from squirting out of the pool and it is worth it. I am very happy with this purchase.
Great replacement, works well Great pool replacement Vac. Was much cheaper here on Amazon then my local pool supply store. After the pool vac went caput, I thought it was going to be very expensive to replace bu the job was fairly straight forward and easy. We had issues with the wheels on our older vac that came with the house, but this one functions very well and gets the job done!
Great pool cleaner We had this same model when we first got our pool. It performed very well for about 8 years. We recently purchased this same model and, again, it really out-performs our expectations! Couldn't be more pleased!
