Worth it! I've had my 280 for about five years now. It replaced a robotic cleaner. So happy I made the switch since the robotic cleaner was more high maintenance (power cord always getting tangled, pain to lift out of pool and remove filter grids to clean, not programmable like the 280 is with a booster pump).
