BEST pool vac cleaner on the market, in my pool.. Great pool cleaner if your willing to pay attention and make adjustments every once in a while. My 180 was in my pool for 34 years 2 sets of wheels & bearings, I replaced a couple sets of screws and washers over 34 years. At times it would go for several years with no attention needed other than emptying the bag. Does the job! This cleaner does the job, picking up even small grains of sands and small stones, plus all the leaf debris. My pool is rather large (and 9 feet deep) and there was enough hose to cover the entire pool floor area. My only complaint is that the unit is a bit pricey so I knocked it down from 5 stars to 4.

... previous Polaris for 14 years and it had become pretty ragged and worn out I'd been using the previous Polaris for 14 years and it had become pretty ragged and worn out. THIS new one has so many new features and is far superior that I swear, the water is cleaner and clearer now that I'm using the Polaris Vac-Sweep 280! Great price, very fast delivery! Would recommend it, in fact I did -- to our pool man.
