Cleans great. Has not gotten stuck on steps or drain.
Our Polaris gave US a pretty easy, “pool cleaning” summer. It’s extremely reliable and efficient, cleaning the Polaris is easy and fast. We can highly recommend the Polaris to everyone with a medium/large pool.

Overall an excellent product. When going up the pool steps, or pulling it out of the water and resting the bottom of the robot on the concrete pool edge as the water drains back into the pool, the plastic bottom of the bot gets scraped badly. So that bottom plastic is shredded due to normal routine use. There should be a replaceable rubber guard along the edges between the wheels. That’s the only drawback. I recommend it.
We were unsure at first since we had only used the Dolphin brand. But after a couple of days of using the Polaris, we knew we made the right choice. Love the remote retrieval feature
