The food and the unique combination of flavors throughout our salads, entree’s and sides was spectacular! Most decidedly a treat for the palate. The only problem was the noise level from the casino which really took away from the atmosphere/ambiance.
We've had the opportunity to attend the brunch at Portico at the del Lago casino and it is one of our favorite things there!
Time in between appetizer and dinner was longer than expected. And waiting to pay bill. Meal was excellent.
Wonderful meal at portico tonight!! From the appetizers to dessert, everything was outstanding. The steaks were top notch. Our waiter John was fantastic too!
The excellent service was most noteworthy. She was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as the food. Her suggestions were valid. The timing of the food was great and we did not feel rushed. The oysters were fresh and up to par, seafood bisque had excellent flavor and was not too salty, and the gnocchis were perfect with the veal jus. The squid ink fettuccine with seafood was even better. The Sangiovese complemented our meal perfectly. Can’t go wrong here. Will be back very soon.

Positive notes: Charcuterie plate and bread service were outstanding, especially the local cheeses. Steak frites were pretty decent, with a vinegar and salt treatment on the fries that was unusual but very tasty. Dessert was a take on Boston creme pie presented as a layer cake that also was different but excellent. Negatives: The "chicken vesuvio" was NOT chicken vesuvio. Food was delicious, the brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had. Michael, our waiter, was very attentive and pleasant. Definitely worth the money for a great meal.
Wonderful food, drinks and outstanding staff! It was our first visit and was very memorable!
