Food was outstanding and Rolland is a great server-we highly recommend him and this restaurant is wonderful

We just loved the ambience of this restaurant when we walked in. Service to be seated for our reservation was prompt. The server we had was great... she greeted us right away, and provided just the right amount of “hover time” so that we didn’t feel rushed or neglected. And the food was delicious! I definitely recommend Portico.
Our waiter,Michael, was very helpful in helping us make our dinner selections. He new the menu and offered explanations of the various entrees. He made sure to inquire about our satisfaction with the meal. I ordered a NYS strip steak and when served, he had me cut in half to make sure I was happy with the way it was cooked. Complimentary Champaign flutes were a nice touch. The whole experience was very positive!
It was a delightful dining experience for myself and my family. There were 9 of us and we had a private room. So special. Our waiter was so accommodating,food delicious.

I have read previous reviews and have to echo what has already been said. Overall, I had a good experience at Portico- but it was the service that was the issue. She was nice, but inattentive. She did not come back to the table after the drinks were ordered. We had to ask for bread. We had to refill our own Champagne flutes (after the initial pour) and even had to ask (more than one time!) for our water glasses to be refilled.
