Three days before we were due to close escrow, the buyer's agent called to inform me that they had lost their financing amidst the turbulent times of Covid-19. The lender pulled out of the mortgage market, leaving the buyer high and dry in a non-contingent contract with their 3% deposit at risk. The buyer's agents were at a wall having called around to find a new lender without success. I extended the the closing date, and called Spiro Hishmeh for urgent help. Con't via email...!

My partner and my experience with Spiro was extremely poor. My partner provided him with tax returns for several years and completed an application for a conventional consolidation of of a first and second mortgage. My partner has owned four houses over the past thirty (30) years. There was absolutely no follow through from Spiro and he did not return my partner's telephone call to follow up.
