When there is a copay you bill insurance and then you bill the customer for the balance after insurance processes the bill. That's how the system works since you want the accounting done right and is common sense. Anytime I was billed in advance, the follow up bill was always wrong because medical administration was incompetent 40 years ago and is still as incompetent today with the billings being done on estimates or untrained staff. I rec'd the following e-mail today. It was great seeing you at your last appointment. Our mission is to provide you with the absolute best dental care possible. Your feedback is very important to us and we appreciate you taking a moment to help us enhance our service by filling out our short survey. However, there was no appointment and you failed to notify me that it was cancelled. Would have been nice to have gotten a heads-up.
I hit the wrong Star. Dr. Bowman is an extremely competent multi-tasked VERY bright star in his Dental office. I'm glad a local VERY well respected oral surgeon recommended him to my wife and me over a couple of years ago. Each trip has been "excellent".
Chipped a tooth. Dr.Curt B. fixed it.
A polite, skilled young lady did a careful job cleaning my teeth.
Everything was going great until Curt walked in and told me the two things men lie about. How could he have known that I have lied about that in the past? Very embarrassing!
