The most horrible business EVER. They are all about money. You are not a human being to them, and they don’t give a fk if you drop dead, because then they can auction off your belongings. I became too ill to work, so was forced to put everything I own into one of their units, and go live in my car. I have had storage in Perris way before it became Prime and I have never had any problems, since my storage has become prime storage so many problems with the people in the office. They have no people skills and have no business working with the public! I have my credit card on file so my bill gets paid every month on time. I went to my storage and found at least 6 red stickers on both my locks. The office was closed so I left a note on my storage door saying it was over kill on the stickers. Prime Storage, specifically the location on Dam Neck Rd. I paid for insurance for 5 years, emptying my unit on the 11th of October I found that most everything is covered with mold, in a climate controlled unit. Some of the items were so covered with mold I had to argue with Karen W******* (DM) to leave the items behind. They are a health hazard. Used their storage for a couple of years. The sent me to collections for not paying a $13 insurance and the collection agency is stating I owe $150. I showed the lady there my renters insurance policy and because an employee lf Prine Storage didn't do their job I am being sent to collections for something I don't owe. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My husband rented 2 different units at 2 different times at the Draper Utah location. One was a 5 X 10 and the other was a 10 X 10, we rented them within 10 days of each other, the due dates were supposed to be 10 days apart from each other, we never received a different PIN code for the second unit, which we should have had a different code for the second unit. The term thieves is to kind. Malicious and deviant billing seems to be their operating mantra. After canceling our lease my wife notified the office on Airport Rd on Hilton head island SC. I accidentally left the lock on the unit. Instead of notifying us of the my error to continued to charge my wife's acct. When confronted the employee was unhelpful, crass, without Decorum and smug beyond imagination. They wouldn't allow me on to take the lock off the unit. Instead they cut the lock themselves. My unit has a severe leak when it rains it floods. I’ve spoken to management, corporate customer care and the district manager. Everyone passes the buck. The DM is incompetent. She has had 2 months to find a resolution to the issue and still nothing has been resolved. I have moved most of my belongings into two other units which I pay for in addition to the unit that floods. As of today I’m paying roughly $1400 per month for all units due to this flooding. I have been trying to contact them, and you can't get anyone on the phone, email, or call you back. I've been a customer for over a year and the sign up process was annoying alone. The two employees trying to get me checked into my unit that I purchased online took over an hour to get through the process and my door code still doesn't work and no one could figure it out.
