The work wasn't what I thought it was going to be.
Considering the cost of the deck and the pitch on the reputation of the company's expertise, I did not expect to have a crass error with one of the columns placed right in front of the basement sliding door. The company did not realize this until project was finished, when WE went to check the completion of the deck we realized this huge design flaw and safety issue.
PWHI blew it when they did not respond to our concerns with the deck lighting.
The entire process has been awful and I will never recommend them to anyone. It began with a sales guy who couldn't measure or do math, then another salesperson trying to upsell me to "make it right" then workers who tear up the entire yard, have food delivered to my front door, use the neighbors water, and take naps in my yard.
