We were celebrating a birthday that wasn’t acknowledged-the service was mediocre.. I was hoping for an atmosphere that was a little more romantic-fewer kids. The prices did not reflect the portions. It’s one of those let’s throw a cheap sauce with a fancy name on it and charge twice the price then serve nothing with it. You can have same food at Cobblestone in Zville and afford to get drinks and dessert too!

The food was excellent and priced accordingly, so I wouldn't say it's a great value in that sense. The service was rough. My table ordered the tasting menu which was a 6 course meal. The waiter was MIA for most courses or showed up way after we had eaten and told us what we just ate which was a bummer. We also waited between 20-45 minutes between each course. Our experience at dinner last night was not up to expectations. We were a party of 4. 1 person ordered steak, another ordered the bison, my wife and I the tortellini. When the steak and bison arrived for our friends they both remarked it was too salty and had the server take it back. Meanwhile, we all 4 waited for over 30 minutes for the replacements to arrive. The best part of dinner was the pre Chef's menu appetizers. The tuna tartare, the dumplings, and the crab cake were excellent! We then ordered the Chef's menu. Someone in the group was lactose intolerant and the first two courses came out full of cheese. Besides the first two courses being mismanaged, the chef's menu was the worst experience I can remember. We were looking so forward to finally getting to Provision on a date night with friends, but between having to shout across the table to hear each other and the food not having much flavor, we were disappointed with our experience. One positive, our server was great and very attentive to our table.
This restaurant was too loud. Wait staff was slow, thought they forgot about us. For the price point and service, I will not be going back

We were very pleased with our first experience at Provision when it first opened, but the last couple of visits have been disappointing. Although we were hesitant to tell the staff one of our entrees was below the expected standards, we did inform them that the sea bass my wife ordered was quite fishy tasting. They gave a perfunctory response and appeared to be dismissive after that. We will not return.
I’m fairly certain my family got food poisoning from the snapper.
