Food was great service was superb
We dined at Provision on their second day of business and the cocktails and food were AMAZING. The meat here was a stunning surprise... we got a platter that included the pork belly, a lamb chop, and filet, and all were outstanding. The filet is easily one of the best I've eaten in the city and is definitely giving Ruth's Chris across the street a run for their money. I love the Cunningham group. They’ve always done such an amazing job, but this dinner fell short. I ordered the pork chop at provision it was 50% fat and the other 50% was barely edible. The service was amazing and the ambience was incredible, but it was just a really crappy cut. I told the server at the end just to let her know that she needed to inform the chef.
we are there for the Mother's Day special menu and we're disappointed in the cost. We only got one small piece of appetizer per person. The egg frittata dish was bland, small portion, and had no sides, eggs Benedict had no sides, the short beef rib dish was the best but it was still a small portion for $50 per person. There was no flowers or candles on the table or anything special to recognize moms.
