Dr. Card and tech, Krystle, provided my dog with excellent care during his extended hospitalization and recovery. My dog and my veterinary dollars will be following Dr. Card. I cannot recommend Pruyn after how they treated Dr. Card.

Business response:

Cole, we take your feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify you as a client based on the account name this review is posted from though, so we kindly ask that you give us a call at your convenience.

The only reason I have tolerated this unfortunate clinic is because Dr. Shoni Card is an incredible veterinarian. Unfortunately, the new management has costs us great techs and now they have cost us Dr. Card. We should not support the management of this clinic with our business. I sure won't.

Business response:

Mary-Ann, it saddens us deeply that Dr. Card is no longer with Pruyn Veterinary Hospital. If you have any concerns or wish to discuss your pet’s medical care, please call us at 406-829-8150.

Were it not for Dr. Card, I would never do business here. Worst service ever...

they gave us back our dog practically unresponsive after surgery.. had to carry a 70 lb German Shepard across the parking lot and call off for work the next day. the charge for 2 teeth was virtually the same as 6 teeth with antibiotics. so did I get ripped off the first time or the second time?

My 8 month old 75 pound puppy was scheduled for a spay and dew claw removal on Friday. I stopped food and water at midnight on Thursday. I brought her in at 720 on Friday morning assuming surgery would be done that morning. Surgery was not done till 515 Friday night. My puppy went withought food for 17 hours, she was give little amounts of water and a couple bathroom breaks. Besides that my 75 pound puppy was kenneled for 10 hours. That is inhumane

My dog was KICKED by a staff member. This hospital has a horrible layout and is not conducive to safe and proper animal care. The hallway to the exam rooms is the same area as their one and only available exit door, and also a check out desk. The others remain locked. Upon attempting to leave the clinic, the exit was being blocked by another woman and her crated pets. I was hesitant to walk my two dogs past the crates as I did not know the type of Animal inside or their behavior, or whether the crate was closed properly. A h... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us yesterday about your experience at our hospital. After investigating the situation thoroughly, we feel it is a misunderstanding that our employee kicked your pet. However, we completely understand that this was an escalated situation, and that we could have done a better job ensuring a safe and calm exit for your dog. We look at every challenging situation as an opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow, and your experience will be no different. We wish you and your pups all t... read more

Dr. Card is an amazing veterinarian, but sadly now I may want to start taking my pets elsewhere. Ever since new ownership took over, they've been charging astronomical prices that people with my low income simply cannot afford. Now it seems like I have to pick and choose which of my pets have to suffer and die and which (barely) gets the treatment they desperately need. I have three old poodles. One is going blind, one has diabetes, and one is so old she barely moves. One has fatty tumors, one has leg problems, and it goes o... read more

A friend was watching my cat for me while I moved. Lily accidently got out & got attacked by a dog & her back legs wouldn't work. I took her to Pruyns & the place was a zoo. I felt like I was on a conveyor belt & got run through very fast. Minott said she wouldn't ever be good for anything & put her down so fast she was dead before she hit the table! It was way too fast, too impersonal & didn't even give me any chance to consider life w/ a disabled cat. She may still be alive if we had been given proper attention, considerat... read more
