Wastes Tape Disclaimer: This is for work, and they made me buy a Brother. Like all other Brother label makers, it wastes a lot of tape. It's silly to have an automated label maker that expects you to manually cut the tape, not to mention the waste of money. On the plus side, this is a versatile label maker that is a lot easier to carry around to different locations than most others. So, it is a bit of a wash, but you could do worse.
Waste 1" of label on each label!!!! The margins on this thing are insanely huge! I was printing simple numbers for camera lenses "35mm". . . but the label on the right side, perfect margin, the one on the left 1" of wasted label. . . for every single label! If you do 12 labels, you just wasted an entire foot of label!!!! This is their way to make you buy more labels than necessary. Called brother and they said this is how ALL p-touches operate. DO NOT BUY THIS. . . YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY CUT EACH ONE. Go with a Dymo.
Doesn't include power cord, requires a pile of batteries! It isn't useful without a power cord or at least a modest battery requirement.

Doesn’t really bother met but the reviews are right. It really does waste a lot. Wastes a lot of material. Other than that it seems to work well.
