Waste Labels do not get this at all no matter how you adjust it it waste tons of labels get a dymo stay away from brother
Difficult to use. Wasted label space. I read many reviews. Most were favorable, so I tried it. I found it difficult to use. Yes, you can print a label within a minute from opening, but there is a good bit of wasted space on every label. I had help from my son who knows everything electronic. We adjusted margins and text size. We tried everything. Maybe it was all just too complicated for what I was looking for. If you want to make simple labels, and not waste label tape, this one is not for you!
Sticks to Plastic Had a dymo labeler, got back from vacation and all of the labels had fallen off the printed PLA boxes. Replaced with the Brother and all of the labels stay on, with the added benefit of the labels looking better
Good Works great, simple instructions and changing the settings feels intuitive. My only gripe with this label maker is the same one I have with all label makers: the amount of blank space on either side of the print. It's such a waste and I always end up cutting it off.
Prints so much blank space you have to hand cut each label afterwards It prints an inch or so of blank tape on either side of the label, so if you print the letter “A”, your label will end up being a couple inches or so wide. Not only does this force you to buy more tape (clearly the intent of the company) but the main issue is that I have to hand cut the labels with scissors so they don’t have so much white space. No longer efficient when it takes that much effort. It’s also pretty gigantic for some reason
Waste a lot of paper There’s inch space from the edge of the paper to the first letter and the last letter every time it prints. Waste a lot of paper.
Missing power cord This came missing a power cord.
difficult to use it amkes lels but the instructions suck. if you are ADHD like me it is nearly impossible to make several different labels with different text that "look the same" I tried to make 40 labels for my spice rack and could not get two that looked the same. label length and margins are hard to match. if you are making labels that aren't right next to each other it might work for you. also hard to find 3/8" label stock
does work but very cheaply made the whole unit feel like a cheap toy. the lcd display for your text is barely readable. but at the end, does produce a usable label.
