Turns off without printing; constantly dies even with brand new batteries. This brother printer is the worst label maker. It constantly dies even with brand new batteries. I have installed new sets of batteries on separate occasions and it still dies right away. I cannot even print one four letter word. Do not buy.

worst product ive purchased This label maker hasn't worked from day 1. I put brand new batteries in it and it immediately said Low battery. Changed the batteries again and it started to print, half way through one word it says Low batter again. I take batteries out and change again... same results. Its not the batteries, the machine is faulty. I don't recommend this to be purchased. I wished I would have read the reviews before purchasing as others had the same problem.

Doesn’t work It stopped working after a month of use and it’s been collecting dust ever since. I thought it was battery at first but it also doesn’t work with new batteries.

Much worse than PT-65 and PT-85 that preceded this model Pluses: you can still buy it; cheap Minuses: (all in comparison to earlier, similarly-priced PT-65 and PT-85 models) lightweight junk feel, wastes tape, hard to use, battery hog I have PT-65, PT-85, and this model. Love the first two and loathe this one.

Doesn’t work Unfortunately, this product doesn’t work! I got a ‘low battery’ message upon first attempt at use. Thought maybe my batteries were old, so I put in a second set, but still got the same message and it won’t print. Disappointed.

not a good buy I don't use it often, but whenever I do it prompts me to feed it new batteries even though it has been off, just sitting there in the corner collecting dust.

Battery Hog This product continues to eat batteries. When I received it I placed new batteries in it and immediatly got the "Low Battery" warning. After I printed my first label, it died on the second one. Recommend buying one that does not eat batteries. Mine will be in the mail today back to Amazon.

Eats batteries I made about 10 labels. I put new batteries in and that was all I got out of them. Everything else was fine.

label gets stuck inside when printing Useless piece of crap. don't bother. What good is a labelmaker if the label gets crushed up inside the machine? Used it for the first time yesterday and can't return it now since it's outside the return window.
