With Dr. Lee retired, we were apprehensive about the new doctor who would replace him, as finding a caring pet doctor can be difficult to find. We are elated do have found Dr. Poage, he is responsive and as caring as Dr. Lee is. The final bills sometimes give a bit of stage fright, but so can any medical bill - for our pets or otherwise. The staff at Pusch Ridge is very friendly and accomodating. I showed up 15 minutes early in the morning before they "opened" and I was let in. The technician was very efficient and Doctor Poage was very through in his yearly wellness exam of our cat. The doc also informed me about the gums and recommended that I use an oral mouthwash or toothpaste. Our kitty is only 2 and I was surprised to see some inflammation. Great service and helpful with my questions.
I recently moved from California. Camp Bow Wow recommended this clinic. I had a great first experience with Dr Halstead. Very caring, listens well, efficient in approach. Developed a care plan for my ailing dog. Will definitely go back!
This is a very good pet hospital. The facility is clean and well maintained. The doctors are knowledgeable and experienced. They have provided my three dogs with very good care. The support staff is very good. Everyone treats my pets with care and respect. This is one of the most important attributes of an animal hospital as far as I am concerned.
Pusch Ridge Pet Clinic is a small gem here in Oro Valley! The office staff, techs & doctors are all very caring & friendly. They offer a variety of new services including laser & acupuncture. Our 17 year old cat had his first acupuncture session this week to help his back legs & we can see some improvement already!
I originally chose this vet for my dog Seymour because Dr. Dubash came highly recommended. She was fantastic, low-key, and caught my new dog's heart-worm disease on a hutch, saving him from permanent damage. The treatment was really hard on him, but they were great to deal with and he cane through it. After Dr. Dubash's passing, I kept going there, but the standard of care was never the same. I was referred to Pusch Ridge through the community I live in. Happy I went. As a new resident I didn't have a clue where to go for my cat and needed to establish a vet. Pusch was able to get us in quickly and made the visit very easy. Front desk staff, vet tech's and the vet were all friendly, caring and happy. Their cost were not nearly as high as I expected so that was a nice surprise. I was referred to Pusch Ridge Pet Clinic by a friend and took my dog, Zoey, to have her teeth cleaned. I was so happy with the professionalism of the staff, the ease of scheduling the pre-appointment, and the results of the cleaning. They have been CARING for my dog ever since. Zoey has been seen by Drs Karnes and Estheimer and had good care and I have had all my questions answered every time.
I have always had a positive visit with the Vets. at Pusch Ridge Clinic. I especially like Dr. Halstead. He does an extremely through physical ( hands on exam ) I have always viewed a doctor, whether it is a people doctor or a Vet, as an excellently trained doctor if they know how an animals body should feel as opposed to a doctor who may depend on instruments or technology alone.
