It seems to me that there emergency vets may be on a production with salary comp plan that may be affecting recommendations.

Rampage died. He was treated improperly by the staff at Quail Corners Animal Hospital. He wasn’t treated with the urgent emergency care that he so desperately needed. The team was totally inappropriate and unprofessional care is what Rampage received. The staff was very uncaring and extremely impersonal. They also attempted to overcharge for services in general. The doctors and staff are very sorry for the loss of Rampage. While our emergency team did their very best to provide the necessary care to Rampage, he was a very sick puppy. It is not uncommon for upper respiratory ailments to lead to pneumonia which can be quickly debilitating to a young pup. Our hearts go out to you and your family during this very difficult and sad time.
Can someone explain to me how you can charge $125 for a 2.5 day supply of Cisapride, Yet A normal vet charges $47 FOR A 20 DAY SUPPLY at the same dosage! HOW do your “doctors” sleep at night? And to top it off you wanted another $125 for a flippin office visit 4 days later. You guys should be put out of business. Our dog will be having surgery but not by your practice. My brother took his cat here for a simple uti. They sent him home that day with no antibiotics, and no tests to even see if she had a uti. So of course he had to return the next day when she had spiked a fever and couldn't collect a urine sample because she wasn't peeing anything. They then decided that they should run some tests because it could be a bad kidney infection, yet somehow yesterday it wasn't worth giving antibiotics to. They did tests and concluded it was a indeed a uti, something I'm not sure why they didn't do... read more

Disappointed with this experience! Had appt but was not seen until 50 min after that time. Saw what appeared to be a very novice Dr. who took another hour to decide that my dog had ringworm. What I said he had when I walked in the door...had already ordered shampoo from Amazon that morning for $14. Was offered the same shampoo for $67...

The emergency staff gets a 100 star rating, they are extremely compassionate and go over and beyond what you would expect. I will be forever thankful to them. I had to take three dogs to the emergency part of Quail about two weeks ago for a dog fight. Out of the three dogs one of them got the worst of it and had to have surgery that was very intense.
