This is the worst experience I've ever had with any financial institution. It took months to get pre-approved, which I specifically did before looking at houses because I knew my credit wasn't amazing. They told me I would be a manual underwrite, which is fine. I understood that part and that it would take more time than usual. The part that isn't fine? The lending officer wouldn't answer when I called. Or when my realtor called. I eventually called the customer service line to see if I could speak with a manager after about... read more

RANLife is a complete scam. Avoid like the plague. The cost me thousands of dollars a a result of their misrepresentations and lies. First they told me that I was approved for one loan but tried to switch it to another. Then they charged for an FHA appraisal, but sent a fake appraiser that wasn't FHA approved. After that, my rep stopped answering my calls. Another person told me he no longer worked there, but I found out that too was a lie. Another person said he'd take over, but he too ignored me. This entire company seems... read more

The process was filled with lies and promises you didnt keep! We were constantly requesting additional information, frequently info you already had. A stressful situation was turned into a nightmare which dragged on for months! I will do everything in my power to see to it that you are not allowed to continue to do business!

Process started out simple enough for a USDA loan. We hit a lot of speed bumps and road blocks, but tried to push forward. Ultimately what drove us away was our loan processor assuming we wouldn't have funds to close and instead of asking us directly, put our real estate agent up to seeing if we were ok with the seller being asked to pay $4000 in closing costs. When I confronted our loan officer as to why nothing had been said to us, his reply was they had our bank information so "why ask a question we know the answer to?" w... read more

This company has become horrible! Chris Nye is a nasty manager running the show. They sent someone to my house post Hurricane to "check for damage" with no claim, no wrong doing on my part. They sent a 3rd party Black Knight who left a nasty sticker on my front window in the midst of selling, with a confirmed showing, that implied I wasn't paying my mortgage (which isn't near the truth). I have requested it to be taken down as it's stuck on my window and I am out of town. Chris Nye told me to use windex. Disgusted with this ... read more

We nearly lost the house we wanted because of a botched job at RanLife Home Loans working with a loan officer named Jesse Curtis. In the beginning, Jesse told us we would get a loan with certain options, which we were happy with and agreed to go forward with. However, just before the closing, he delivered a different loan to us. When we questioned the loan details, Jesse’s response was “oh I thought you were in love with the house so much that you don’t care what the loan is going to be” or "your real estate agent should o... read more

Horrible! Told we were approved, so we placed an offer (and earnest money) on a home, we were told that they were going to do a "Rapid Rescore" to "strengthen our file" but to not worry, because we were approved. 3 days AFTER the finance deadline passed, the story changed and we weren't approved for the the "$1,000 down" program, and we would have to do a manually underwritten loan, because of some inaccuracies on my credit report. We had to extend the close date a week, but were assured everything was going to be approved a... read more
