RecommendedI highly recommend Red Star Kennel, Irina and Mark. I opted to have my two Cavapoos, Jack and 'Cedes trained there earlier this year...young pups about 8 months old. 4 1/2 hours travel from my home one way, but well worth it! Great experience for both and me! So much so, my beloved Chamois, an English Cream Retriever 4 1/2 years old will begin more advanced training this Saturday. Red Star Kennel did a great job with my mini Aussiedoodle Piper! She came home a well behaved dog that listens. We've continued the training at home, and she continues to improve. I can leave her off leash when outside with her and she comes when called. I highly recommend Red Star!

My dog Mesa was in the 25 day training program. She had a very tough start in life. She was found at a gas station in Arkansas, emaciated and sick. After she recovered, I discovered she was very much a loner, didn't like other dogs and people not so much. I took her to Red Star and Irena was her trainer. She came back a much improved dog. I brought my dog there for the 25 day boot camp and she’s such a different dog but also her same goofy self. She listens so well to my commands and always stays close to me, Irina did an amazing job with her. Not only did they teach my dog better manners they also taught me how to implement them bringing her home. I have stuck with the training and it has made all the difference. This place is incredible and Irina and Mark are amazing! We have an 18-month Ovcharka. He stands about 32” at his shoulder and weighs about 140 pounds … and is still a growing puppy. Our dog, despite the breed tendencies, has never been aggressive, but at his size, his over-exuberance to meet people and dogs was frequently misinterpreted as such. Red Star Kennel has been a blessing for us. Our German Shepherd, Sarge, was reactive to everything. Even talking him for a walk was stressful on us. After a few short weeks at Red Star, he came home with the skills to be able to relax in situations that used to stress him out. He’s the same happy dog but with a relaxed, calm demeanor now. My 2 miniature dachshunds went to the month long training at Red Star. They were already good boys when we left them but even more amazing when they returned to us. We are still working with the training we were also taught and it continues to pay off. I recommend Red Star to everyone who has a pup that would like a little extra help. Our boys come on command, walk without pulling or barking, and are much better when people enter our home. Amazing!
Outstanding!! We are so incredibly happy with the 4 week boot camp training our yellow lab Madeline received. Worth every penny!! Madeline is now calm, happy and well behaved. Thank you so much Irina and everyone at Red Star Kennel.
