RecommendedThe boot camp at Red Star is worth every penny! We sent our crazy, out of control 1 year old Great Dane Boomer and the results were amazing. He was jumping, mouthing, out of control while on leash and over excited when seeing young children. He came back calm, obedient and totally manageable on leash. No more counter surfing either! I definitely recommend Red Star and will be sending any future puppies to their puppy boot camp to prevent any of these behaviors from even starting. Thank you!!
Happy New Year to Mark and Irina! Thanks so much for transforming Sadie from a hyper-vigilant, reactive, crazy furball into a generally relaxed, attentive furball. Her sunny, sweet personality is intact minus the "kill or be killed" philosophy toward other dogs. We still have some work to do, but we've come a long way because of your expert guidance. Go here first! We spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on obedience training and in home trainers for our relatively difficult 3 year old Aussiedoodle. He had a lot of behavior issues that were becoming unmanageable at home, especially with having added two small children to the mix. Mark and Irena have been so helpful with Koda! Not only the 4 week training but also being so available as I work through things with him at home. Or if I’m struggling with anything in particular, they’ve always been so attentive with my phone calls. The training has been amazing!
We've had many great experiences with Red Star. Irena and Mark are experienced, knowledgeable and caring. They are also deeply involved with the day to day operation of Red Star and it is well run, clean and not over crowded. Our dogs board there when we go on trips and one of our dogs went to behavior modification camp for a month at Red Star. Our dog was anxious and was becoming aggressive under certain situations.
