My boyfriend and I were trying to go through Renters Warehouse to find a rental to live in, we were working with Nicholas Valdivia and we each paid our $55 application fee and applied to multiple properties but each property we asked him to send our applications to, he was slow in sending them and lacked communication with us so each place kept getting filled before we got a chance to be approved. They expect a prospect to rent without being able to check if all amenities are in working order. Further, they expect a hold deposit (non-refundable) without any allowance for the fact that electricity and gas are both turned off - making it not possible to check all appliances. They can play the "word salad" game just fine. Totally unsatisfactory experience. They got me for a $45 credit check and 11 days of electrical services to the property. Worst company ever from a tenant’s standpoint. Let me count the ways: 1. They lost my cashiers check in their office and called me demanding I pay my rent when I already had. Harvey was very rude. Luckily my agent takes pictures of all the checks he submits and they eventually “found it”. The use of untraceable cashier checks sets them up to be less than honest. 2. I have been trying to resolve an unwarranted late fee now for over a month. I tried to pay on August 4, 2023 and I kept getting an error message so I was unable to pay until the next day when it finally worked. I have called four times only to get rude representatives that talk and laugh with each other and resolve nothing. Then Megan who is supposed to call never does and now I am told I have to wait 72 hours for a manager to call. Completely unacceptable!!!

If there was an option to put zero stars I would. Absolutely do not ever rent from Renters Warehouse, I have had simple maintenance request submit since the beginning of July. I have 6 open maintenance request and there is zero indication they will ever be fixed. The maintenance crews respond to me with generic answers read from a list. One of the worst companies to rent with. Unresponsive, horrible communication with the property owners, unfair to the renter. Lost ac/heat 3 times and it took plus weeks to fix it and communicate with the property management and the vendor that was sent out. They are an evil money hungry company and will do anything to get a buck. They raised our rent with NO notice twice and tried to make us pay the property tax. All in all this is a horrible company please stay far away from here when choosing your rental company.

Renter's Warehouse will talk to you a lot before you rent from them. After you sign the contract, good luck having anyone talk to you about anything. My advice, if you see the house is being represented by Renter's Warehouse, RUN the other way as fast as you can. I was renting until I found a house to buy. Renter's Warehouse has gone dark on me and will not return any phone calls so I can terminate my lease and move into my new home. Do not do business with Renters Warehouse. It has been nothing but a nightmare since we've moved in last week. We were met by Tom Croft, who was pretty good at first, but since, he ignores our communication and questions to just refer us to "the portal". We were charged 2 lease admin fees, when we asked our rep Tom, he again, told us to request through the portal without addressing our questions. We feel bamboozled here.
