Scammers. They took $45 application fees for credit checks from my son and & his 4 roommates entering their senior year in college. They also took another $45 application fee from one of the parents who offered to co-sign. Then when they found out one of our sons' roommates was black they started with the backout excuses. The worst company for customer service. I used them to rent a property. The day that I met with the agent to view the property, there was a lot of stuff wrong with the place, but I was told that if I decided to rent it, everything would be cleaned and ready for me on move in day. So I agreed to rent for a year. Gave them a $2650 deposit, sign the lease. Move in day. Get there. The place was filthy. Carpet was dirty. Appliances old and dirty. Probably these worse renters company ever. They only communicate with you when they need something from you and will never respond when you need something from them. We told them 2 months before our lease was up that we werent renewing and they had no record of it. They were supposed to schedule a walk thru on the last day of our lease, never did. Complaints: 1. Before the tenant moved in, the property manager recorded two videos, one for the garage condition (basement) and the other for the second floor of my house, but she didn't record a video of the first floor. This would become a problem later. 2. When the new tenant moved in, they were not told from the get go to take care of the utilities (water and electric). I wish I could give Sheila Scholl less than 1 star. They're probably the cheapest company around, but you get what you pay for. Completely unprofessional: Hardly responded to my emails, I had 3 different point of contact (one was competent) in my short 5 months working with them, I received an email from one of those points of contacts asking ME if the tenant still lived in the property and paid rent that month, and --to top it --when we parted ways they returned my house key in a standard white envelope with a 47 cent stamp... read more

I would choose zero stars if I could. I signed a contract with Renter's Warehouse on July 17, 2016 and was assigned Charde Johnson as the agent for my property. Charde suggested setting the monthly rent at $2,500 for my property and stated 3 weeks is their usual turnaround time. I was surprised by the rental amount as Zillow suggested $2,250. I was referred to this company by a friend who has used them in the past. However the experience of working with them has been HORRIBLE!
