Relevate has done an excellent job of marketing my rental property and David has kept me in the loop throughout the process. He just emailed me to let me know that they'd have secured the deposit from a qualified tenant and I couldn't be happier!
In addition, beware! If you dispute their bogus findings after move out, they will lie, deflect, and procrastinate carrying out the legal process on their end. And then basically have their attorney say, you're a liar and your claims are unfounded. I am quite certain that our walk through (we were present), was sabotaged after we left. Relevate managed the home I rent -- though "managed" might be generous. After reporting repeated flooding, I got the usual runaround: ignored MELD tickets, no updates, and no meaningful action. They never confirmed anything in writing, including a supposed rent discount that was verbally suggested (but never reflected in their payment portal). RICHMOND LOCATION, SEEMS TO BE A COMMON THREAD IN THE REVIEWS, MAYBE THAT'S WHY THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME 1. Just short of Harassment when the lease was ending. We received up to 8 or more duplicate notices via email AND mail. Finally had to email back and say in so many words, "Cease and desist already!" 2. Take tons of photos when you move in and out. The Richmond office is extremely shady. Avoid at all costs. They will allow you to approve work orders over $500, but they get around that by splitting jobs completed on the same day by the same people on 2 invoices. They charge for work that is not even done, and rather then telling the homeowner what needs to be fixed, they must have some deal worked out with local contractors because the perform frivolous work again split or just under that $500 threshold so the homeowner has no knowledge of the costs until they expect to... read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company said in my move out report that the carpets were cleaned, then charged me $250 for carpet cleaning. They also charged $440 for a non existent gas bill, as I had all the utility bills in my name. Back in July, the owner made them contact me saying I owed a $1000 gas bill. How would it even be on at that point??? I provided my current Richmond Gas Bill (with no balance) and that was suppose to be settled. This was in July. I didn't move out until end of Nov. Renters Warehouse has been a pain in the butt to deal with since the day we moved in. We had to basically bombard them with emails in order to get smoke alarms installed in our unit (it is illegal to rent out a unit with no smoke detectors). We continuously asked them for keys to our front deadbolt and never received them (they had an entire year). Our deadbolt in the back was extremely hard to open and was a fire hazard, we asked them multiple times to fix this with renters warehouse making no attempt to resolve the matter.... read more
