Very knowledgeable on all things related to knees and orthopedics, but my favorite thing about him is his bedside manner. It’s rare that doctors have both and I appreciate that about Dr. Hallows
Dr. Hallows is a great active listener. He has a gentle and kind personality. He provides feedback that is understandable and practical to implement.

Entire facility is very well run and efficient. Staff is professional and patient. Dr Hallow and team are fantastic. I will return, for the other knee replacement ,knowing I will have the best care and outcome.

Doc treated me so well throughout the process over two years. I had to get my diabetes under control before he could do surgery and I finally. I’m proud that I stuck it out with him not just for his expertise but for his compassion.
Dr Hallows and I go back a long way. Back in 2015, after other doctors at Duke said I had to wait two years for my left hip replacement(in spite of the pain I was in), I scheduled an appointment with Dr Hallows and, after he saw me hobbling, he insisted on scheduling the surgery right away. Thank you! The surgery went very well, and my life was transformed! Dr. Rhett Hallows took his time in explaining my issue, was very attentive and a great listener. We talked about a couple of options. The next day, I decided against my first decision, which was to delay the surgery, but when I slept on it, I decided that I wanted it asap. Dr. Rhett scheduled it for three months earlier, and I will be so relieved to get it done. I have full confidence that he will do a great job on my total hip replacement.
Dr. Hallows gave me his undivided attention and listened and that’s so important when a patient is seeking care and is nervous. So thank you Dr. Hallows for your expertise and helping me to feel better about my knee problem.
