I think your hands are probably tied, by regulations, so this criticism can be ignored if that is the case.... BUT why are you so hyper-critical of a loan applicant (myself), when there is going to a be a $100k downpayment on a house valued at $250K? It is a win-win for you no matter what happens. A defaulted loan after three months would be a win. A completed loan would be a win. So why do you put me so much paperwork and misery? John thepurplefiddle@gmail.com

There was at times a lack of communication on interest rate, still not sure which credit score was used and why since there was such a range in mine. I had to ask for several things, being new to this without a real estate agent made things a bit confusing

Communication was fast and good. The website was very wack and did not save a lot of our paperwork and I could not see everything that was uploaded. I also asked a lot of questions and I feel like some people were getting annoyed, but that might just be me overthinking it.

I had to reach out to the processor (not Richard) repeatedly to get updates on where we were in the process. Also, when we had questions the evening of the closing, there was no after-hours number we could ask for help. I understand that business cannot always be conducted 24/7, but I think if extended hours are not able to be fully supported, they shouldn't be offered.

The process was a bit slow. It felt impersonal to be handed off after initially speaking to one person. I was also frustrated that we couldn't close electronically.

I think the fact that we chose a lender that was not familiar with the area of where we were buying a house, made things a little more difficult. Especially for our first home buying experience. He was patient, kind, and helpful for the most part. However, when he didn't find out mud taxes and our crunch our final numbers till about a week or two before closing, it was frustrating. Also, eligibility with the USDA loan, different things came up very close to closing date. This caused some stress.

Working with Richard was great he communicated great if I only had to work with Richard and not deal with the underwriting people it would have been better the communication with them was horrible and they always waited till the last hour on a Friday to say they needed something else and I was on edge the entire time before closing and cause they never could say ok this is the time this what you need to do and it will be a done deal very frustrating till the very end

Once things moved past Richard and on to others things slowed down. Numerous items had to be sent in more than once. One item we scanned and sent in six times. Once uploaded to your system items should not get lost.
