If you have a serious problem go somewhere else. When we took our baby there she had a small tumor under the skin, smaller than a golf ball. Our old vet in AL would have removed it the next day, but not Ridgetop. Had to have a biopsy of it first which couldn’t happen for 2 weeks, then they lost the results for another 2-3 weeks( filed under the wrong dog). We have had rude comments and threats of full charges if I don’t confirm appointments. We missed one and we charged full price not $25 like the website says. Prices have increased which were not mentioned in the practice, on website, app or by email. I’m in there weekly for a sick cat. It wasn’t mentioned once yo me. I have been very happy with the care up to today! Over a week ago i came into the clinic with my dog for his yearly shots. During the visit they were nice to look at him as an emergency visit as he has developed large masses on his body. During the visit they took a sample of the mass and send it over to an outside lab. Been bringing my pets here for 25+ yrs and it’s not been a good experience for the past 2 now… I have 4 dogs & 1 cat I bring there, lots of business for them! Today I couldn’t make the appointment for my cats annual due to being sick and I was informed rudely they will be charging me $60+ AGAIN: 25+ yrs with them and NEVER missed an appointment! I will be moving all my pets from this establishment

Never, ever take your pets here. I have been a client with my two dogs for years and haven't switched providers mainly out of convenience- however, Ridgetop officially lost my business today by displaying the absolute worst customer service, and most disgusting behavior I've ever experienced. RecommendedThey do a great job clipping my dogs nails. She is a small shitzu/poodle mix (14 olds) and it's been hard to clip her nails. The technicians at Ridgetop use a foam trough to lay her on her back, and she can't move. She has been there many times and has become a little more relaxed about me handing her off to a tech. I highly recommend them. Ridgetop also performed a knee surgery on her several years back with success.
They can improve on deaf dogs care for stubborn, deaf, and hard dogs to handle when needing anything done whether its an exam , nail lippings, or vaccinations due.
We used Ridgetop for over 14 yrs and loved it. Unfortunately when Dr Paulson left,there wasn’t anyone left in management that cared about its patients or customers. Policy changes without notice, redundant and expensive testing. Lack of communication and even lied too. I hold Dr Burch personally responsible for the unnecessary death of my kitty. After 25+ years with Dr Paulson who unfortunately retired the customer service at this place has gone downhill. It’s unfortunate that long time customers are treated so poorly, especially ones who have always paid their bill in full and on time. We have multiple pets. We were with Dr Paulson before Ridgetop when he was still over by the Golden Mum. I would have always recommended him.
