The cons: Waited 45 minutes for a table. Then, waited 30 min. for someone to come wait on us. Then, waited 30 min. for our food to be delivered, which turned out to be just ok. Multiple birthdays while we were there. They pop paper bags for the occasion. So, if you have PTSD or fear of public shootings, probably not the best place to go, because it sounds like someone is shooting the place up. The pros: The Miami Vice drink is amazing! I was stuck in Cleburne/Burleson, and as a Celiac, I had few options. The hostess knew they had a GF menu, but didn't know where it was. Manager was knowledgeable about ingredients. I ordered the De La Casa salad, and the Mexican vinaigrette tasted like Kraft Catalina dressing. My husband's veggie enchiladas were disappointing. The veggies were chopped so unprofessionally that they cooked unevenly. The ranchero sauce tasted canned. Service was good, and the margaritas were good. Went for the first time yesterday and had 2 margaritas and a brisket nachos plate. The bartender was very friendly and the place looked nice and clean. Unfortunately I got food poisoning from the nachos. I had to miss work today because of it. I'd stay away until they get things sorted out. I'm scared to go back now!
Wont be back. They brought out something i didnt order. The food was bland. Fajita had very little onions or peppers. Expensive for what we had. Dont waste your money. You want good Mexican food go to El Toros in Arlington.
The guy at host stand seemed alittle unfriendly and for the price I was not impressed. My brisket tacos were very bland. $16 and I only ate 1. My son's beef burrito on the kids meal was not what I expected and he didn't eat it. The Beer Rita was good. We've eaten at the location in W Fort Worth a few times and this was different. Well go back though. Give it another try in a year or so once they've worked out the bugs
