Wonderful evening. Our server, Sam, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made some wonderful suggestions for our meal. We had a great time.
Early day valentines
It was good - just very tight in space and small tables
All 4 of us had an excellent meal. Our server was great. He had a new helper and she did a nice job. It was busy...it took a little while longer to get our main course but that was okay. The remodeled bathrooms looked nice.
We were pleased with our overall experience but the service was a little lacking. How waiters never offered us anything to drink other than water. We had to ask for different drinks. They also refilled our water glasses while they were on the table rather than lifting them. Water was splashing on the table and our plates and they reached across us several times to clear dishes. Both waiters were very pleasant though and the atmosphere was great.
We were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had the calamari appetizer which was delicious- light and tender. My husband enjoyed the pork chop. The sauce was amazing. His only concern was it was a smidge tough.he orders into be cooked medium Whig was the chef’s recommendation. I ordered the pappardelle. The pasta was light and perfectly cooked accompanied with just the right amount of duck sauce. The service overall was good though I didn’t find the host particularly friendly or welcoming.
