We went to Ristorante Bartolatta to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. After a rocky start to the evening due to a long wait despite our reservation, the staff was amazing! They offered us free drinks to make up for our wait and then once seated they brought us two of their most popular appetizers with profuse apologies for our wait. We ordered our food and were very content, but they also insisted we order dessert on them. We certainly did not feel that was necessary, but appreciated it very much! Pasta dishes were excellent! Ambiance was excellent!
A friend and I went to one of Ristorante Bartolotta's special December luncheons. It's a prix fixe menu but with numerous choices. The service was very attentive but not overbearing, and the food was delicious. It's one of the few restaurants that still has linen tablecloths.
My favorite Milwaukee restaurant. I'm always happy to visit when I'm back home. Great ambiance and wait staff together with great food. I recommend the garganelli!
Pomodoro salad and Rigatoni were very good. Pork chops and salmon were below average. Would stick with pasta dishes next time.
Enjoyable place overall; we've been there many times. The service is always impeccable, and the physical space is handsomely appointed. It is very loud, though, especially at peak times. My husband and I were nearly shouting at each other in order to keep our conversation going. The food on our visit was very good: the carpaccio was excellent, with a nice combo of flavors, and the tagliatelle (with porcini and nepitella) were delicious. We always enjoy eating here. It was busy and the seating is tight ,but the food was great.
Great experience. Food was awesome from grilled seafood to Parmesan risotto with white truffles. Service is split between two waiters. Samuel and Zach did a great job - attentive not rushed. Very helpful selecting a bottle of wine. Always a special dining experience. It is our 10th year celebrating birthdays at Ristorante Bartolotta.
