We love coming to Bartolotta’s for dinner. We usually get fantastic food and service. This time however our waitress got two things wrong. I asked for olives with my old fashioned and they put in cherries. Then I asked for the “appetizer” size of my entree and instead she brought me the larger size. Once we pointed out the discrepancies they were corrected/compensated and I realize mistakes happen but it was just weird that two things happened that night. As always, every time we come here we’re reminded why this truly is the best restaurant in the Milwaukee area. Food, wine and service were exceptional per usual. No one does it better.
Always make a point of celebrating our anniversary here! It never disappoints! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Ristorante Bartolotta is my favorite Italian restaurant in Milwaukee. The food and service are consistently excellent. I recommend it highly.
Everything was fine. We had a nice time. Food was great and everyone was accommodating.
We were celebrating my surgery the following morning. Was it wrong to order Italian Old Fashioneds as part of my prep? Perhaps, but what the heck. I did the best thing ever: appetizer portions of my two faves: pappardelle & garganelli. A double taste explosion. Best meal this summer, and we just ate at five high end restaurants fronting the lagoon in Cancun a week ago, and each was awesome. This was better. Thanks for the table! Amazing.
The food was absolutely delicious. The staff at the bar (where we ended up eating) was very good as well. Atmosphere could be more relaxed, but that could be the clientele.
