Without question, this is the best high end Italian dining experience you will find in Wauwatosa/Milwaukee. Consistently great service and food.....youn't go wrong with Ristorante!
Wow. We have never had a bad meal here. Last night was no exception. I would go out of my way to have the ravioli with rabbit ragu and shaved black truffles. It really was one of the best flavor profiles I have had in a long time. The steak and chicken entrees had by the rest of the party were awesome and cooked perfectly as well. The service and food were very good. The place has an excellent Italian atmosphere with an impromptu singer during our meal.

A quiet night made for even a better than normal dinner. The chef's menu was superb: Porcini mushroom soup had great, not over the top, mushroom flavor. Spinach, ricotta ravioli with rabbit ragu in a light tomato sauce was amazing. I asked that the venison loin be cooked between medium rare and medium, a very tight window, but it was and delicious. The table service was terrible. Our waiters were usually never there when we wanted them. I like Bartolotta's restaurants. I have not been to Ristorante Bartolotta in several years, and I will never go back to that restaurant.
