All 4 of us had an excellent meal. Our server was great. He had a new helper and she did a nice job. It was busy...it took a little while longer to get our main course but that was okay. The remodeled bathrooms looked nice.
We were pleased with our overall experience but the service was a little lacking. How waiters never offered us anything to drink other than water. We had to ask for different drinks. They also refilled our water glasses while they were on the table rather than lifting them. Water was splashing on the table and our plates and they reached across us several times to clear dishes. Both waiters were very pleasant though and the atmosphere was great.
We were there to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had the calamari appetizer which was delicious- light and tender. My husband enjoyed the pork chop. The sauce was amazing. His only concern was it was a smidge tough.he orders into be cooked medium Whig was the chef’s recommendation. I ordered the pappardelle. My meals at Ristorante Bartolotta have always been outstanding and this was no exception. Attention to detail even in recognizing birthdays addresses every detail.
Best restaurant in Milwaukee area. Service and food are tops. Great wine list - and half price bottles of wine on Monday’s. This has been our special occasion go to for years. Never dissatisfied. Thank you Bartolottas!
Wonderful as always
Waitstaff were stellar. Highly attentive and noticed small details to create an outstanding dining experience. Best Caesar Salad ever!! The lamb chops were cooked to the desired level, however they could have been seasoned more brightly. The accompanied squash potato base seemed haphazardly cut and plated, not typical of Bartolatta standard. The Black Manhattan was spectacular. Noise level was a bit high for a Monday night, though the restaurant was full.
