While our overall experience was excellent and the restaurant remains a favorite, the service was inconsistent. We waited quite a bit for the wine list, then waited for our order to be taken, then waited for the bread basket. However, we didn't have time to finish our appetizer because our food came so quickly. My steak was prepared completely different than requested, but the wait staff was very apologetic and responded with excellent efforts to make up for the miscue. Food taste was acceptable however the spaghetti w/lobster had several lobster shell fragments in the sauce. Very uncomfortable eating this dish. When expressing my concern to our waiter, nothing was suggested to make it right.
This has been our favorite restaurant since it opened. We try to go several times a year and are never disappointed. Love the papardelle with duck ragu. Servers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Overall, a fantastic meal. Ristorante Bartolotta, in my opinion, is the most intimate place for a special dinner. There are few new selections on the menu. I was a bit disappointed in the new shrimp appetizer as it was quite small and didn't have the "wow" factor of their other appetizers.
As always a wonderful time, great food and impeccable service. Only suggestion is that they should go a little lighter on the oil with the new porcini pasta entree. Otherwise everything was perfect. The Black Manhattan was exquisite.
We expected delicious food and we got it. The service was atrocious, which came as a great shock for a restaurant we have thought so highly of.
This place has become our go-to for a nice night out. I usually always end up getting whatever’s on the chefs menu- and it’s always great! The service is always excellent. Last time we were there the owner came and introduced himself to us and thanked us for coming- classy guy!
We had a lovely family get together. All entres were perfectly prepared and their presentation was very appealing. Wonderful calamari and mussel appetizers.
Food and staff is always the best! Would highly recommend to everyone.
