This was our first dinner since the restaurant was remodeled. Fortunately it retains all its charm and intimacy, but with a fresh more upscale feel. And as usual the food was outstanding, the wine great, and service extremely friendly and gracious. Remodel looks great. Also, saw the pics of the kitchen remodel - excellent! And Juan Urbieta did not disappoint! Fresh ricotta spinach gnocchi!! Wow! Joe our server was excellent along with Tony and Haley. Jeremy, the manager and wine guru was excellent as always.
It had been nearly a dozen years since we last dined here due to a surprisingly terrible experience at the time. We decided to finally give them another chance and were glad we did. Food and drink were outstanding as were the staff.
We went here to celebrate my birthday, and it was wonderful! The servers are quite attentive and very sweet, and they don’t try to rush you at all. The restaurant itself is rather small, but in a cozy way. We will definitely be back!
We love Ristorante Bartolotta for special occasions. The owner came to our table for a visit. Very nice. Gave us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. Now that we live in Wauwatosa we hope to frequent this restaurant more often.
Friendly staff; consistently excellent food; everyone on staff from hostess to wait staff and others make extra efforts to make the dining experience enjoyable and memorable.
We always celebrate our anniversary here. The food is out of this world and the service is fantastic! I cannot recommend Bartolotta's enough (actually any of their restaurants). The new renovation at the Tosa location, is a wonderful 'freshen up' but not over the top. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
We had a great celebration for our 33th anniversary, food was outstanding with special mention for the carpaccio and the spaghetti laragosta. Wines were superb. It was couple of days after the reopening so the restaurant looked neat, one area for improvement though is the a/a as it was not working well.
