Supposed to be one of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee area but found the overall experience "meh". Lead waitress spoke very loudly and came by the table every 5 minutes, which we found disruptive and unnecessary. They have a dual waiter system, which means we had each waiter stopping at our table every few minutes asking the same questions: Can I get you more bread? We love the cozy, rustic, relaxed feeling of this Bartolotta restaurant. Service is always great and the food, fabulous!
The pork on the chef's tasting menu was heavenly! And my old standby ravioli was as good as ever. A fresh misticanza salad and some great wine and bread. This place never disappoints and tonight was no different.

Food was awesome. Cooked to perfection. Main waitress was inattentive; her assistant made up for the lack of service from main waitress. Waited 15 min for first drink order; not typical here.
My wife & I had the chefs menu and it was amazing! Wish we could eat here every night!
My wife and I dined at Ristorante Barlotta last Saturday evening. We had dined there before with friends but it had been years ago. My wife had the Pappardelle al Ragu d'Anatra and it was to die for. The next time we dine there, and we will dine there again, I will order that entree. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining.
How can simple sliced potato be so divine? You have to try them! Drinks are always fun and inventive. We always manage without requesting to be seated at a table for two by the window, our favorite location. They must have ESP! You can't go wrong with any Bartolotta restaurant. Ristorante Bartolotta is their first and most charming. Our server for the past two years has been Carissa. Such a charming young lady!
The best meals I've had are always at Ristorante! I adore the truffle risotto & "brick" chicken. Service is excellent and the ambience is cozy, warm and inviting. Bartenders make fantastic Martinis. Each dessert is divine. Very highly recommended!
