They had black truffles in house when we we're there, so we ordered a black truffle risotto of the table. Molto Bene!
Always delicious whatever you order and wine selection is perfect. We love the restaurant and going there often. The daily specials are surprising, tasty and great to try. The service is friendly and very accomodating. I certainly recommend this place.
We've been guests here practically since the day it opened and Bartolotta's never disappoints. The interior is cozy and romantic, but can get a little frenetic when full, as is the case with Valentine's Day which we made our traditional special place. They do have the best calamari anywhere, and the paparadelli with duck ragu is sublime. Overall experience as exemplary. Outstanding attention to detail and entire staff are well trained in providing an exceptional experience. The verification of the reservation was well timed and the associate conveyed 'a smile over the phone'. Esteban was our waitstaff, and he was engaging and highly knowledgeable with menu items and wine list. Small restaurant with Great food, and great wine list........what more would anyone want?
It was Valentines day so the restaurant was very crowded and a little loud. None-the less, the service was very good, teh food was great and the wine the waiter helped pick out was outstanding. Great evening.
We've been to this restaurant many times. It's part of a well respected chain in the Milwaukee area. The food, the service and the ambiance in this particular restaurant are always a notch above most of our local Italian restaurants and we were looking forward to a pleasant Valentine's Day evening. The problem was that even though we had made reservations well in advance, we had to wait a full 45 minutes for our table. Although this has been a regular anniversary dinner dining restaurant for us over the past 8 years, we have eaten here many other times as well, and have NEVER been disappointed. Although a small layout with moderate noise level, the food is excellent no matter what you choose and the service is the best!! Wine selection is very good and the staff friendly and helpful. We will obviously continue our food experience at this great spot.
This was a fantastic dining experience. The welcome, the food and the service were all first-rate. It was the best piece of pork riib I have ever had. And they got us out in time to make the 7 pM movie we wanted to see!
