My husband and I went to Ristorante Bartolotta's to celebrate my birthday. The December lunches are the best. I had an appetizer with Ribiola on a bed of butternut squash puree with wild mushrooms. Had I known how good it was going to be I would have had 2 appetizers and skipped the entree. That being said I had the short rib entree and it was outstanding. This was our first time dining here, but will not be our last. Everything was outstanding from making a reservation to the service and especially our meals, The paperdelle dish with the duck ragu was so good I almost cancelled my entree order to order another small plate of it! This was a great choice for our 22nd wedding anniversary dinner!

We dined at Ristorante Bartolotta once before when traveling to Milwaukee, and consider it a top-choice destination. We were delighted to learn of special menu items containing Alba white truffles on our recent visit. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. The half-price wine bottles under $100 was a bonus. The food and service were great with one minor (as in 5%) exception; wish the vegetarian selection was more extensive and equally creative as the meat offerings. The sides for my pork (potatoes with mushroom sauce e.g.) would have been a great accompaniment to the vegetarian selection. Important as my wife is a vegetarian. The truffle meal was out of this world. Just delicious. Service was as always friendly, timely, just excellent.
Excellent special occasion spot for taking close friends and family. Enjoyed the seasonal Chef's menu loaded with White Truffles - one could always wish for more; however, the overall portions across the multiple course meal left us full and very happy. Overall, wonderful experience!
