We live in a 55+ community in ********, **. The tile on the walls of my shower enclosure are so wavy. We contacted our warranty person and one of the supervisors came out to see. I just wanted to take the time and warn neighbors about Rite Rug in *********. My Aunt hired Rite Rug a few months agoto lay linoleum in her bathroom and washroom and carpet her basement after a water leak caused flooding. Rite Rug came in and the workers cut the linoleum outside and brought it in to install. After they left my Aunt and Uncle went downstairs to start putting things back and place and immediately noticed the linoleum had been cut quite short. My wife and I reached out to rite rug to get a estimate for our living room, the sales *** ***** showed up, we had a good talk, picked out carpet and got a good price. After that the sales guy refused to call or return our phone calls, text messages or emails, so we went to the warehouse on **** road and found out that this particular sales person is KNOWN for not returning messages who does that! We recently hired Rite Rug for carpet installation throughout our home, and we are extremely disappointed with the quality of their service. The installation process resulted in significant damage to our baseboards in every room they worked onnot minor scuffs or scratches, but actual gouges and chunks taken out. Its evident that little care was taken during the installation, and were left with costly repairs to restore our baseboards to their original condition.Furthermore, the carpet itself feels far below the expected qual... read more
We had rite rug install vinyl floors on the whole first floor. No one lives here but me and my wife. Grand kids and kids stop by. About 5months we decided to mop the floor and it started buckling. And othe pieces were coming off the wall panel. The guy never asked can he send someone to see he immediately said nothing can be done have to pay a service charge and additional cost for repairs. If you're considering Rite Rug, please go somewhere else. We purchased a new construction home Sept 2021. We began having issues with our flooring bowing and then peeling which we put a claim in with our home builder. Rite Rug is the contractor they used and they ended up coming out to "fix" our floors which was told to us was due to the floor being uneven. They grinded and patched the flooring which ended up causing more issues with the peeling of the floors and it kept spreading through the home. We ended up putting a clai... read more
I ignored the reviews, the low ratings and I went ahead and purchased from these guys and I can't express how deeply I feel that it was one of the most stupid mistakes I've ever made. The abundance of bad ratings make it clear that my experience was not an isolated incident, but rather a pattern here and it ain't pretty. Here are a few examples of how incompetent these clowns are. Bought a new build home in Florida, rite rug did the install of all the tile flooring. The tiles are a mess with numerous tiles having globs and smears of old dry grout left all over, even old grout left on carpets. EXCEPTIONALLY unprofessional company. salesperson "Rachel C******* is terrible" First we had a bait and switch. after they ripped up all the flooring on the first floor & were "surprised" to find leveling issues at threshholds. we had no option but to pay (as the house was supposed to be listed the next day)!!!! we chose the option of an additional 40%!!!!!! to level the threshholds (our other option was a $500 bandaid with transition strips in every doorway). so this 1 day job is now on day 4 & guess what?
