Rite Rug installed a bamboo floor onto our concrete slab floor. The bamboo cupped all throughout the flooring within 2 months of the installation. Rite Rug is not only refusing to stand behind the product, they are blaming us for the cupping. When it was installed, Rite Rug staff told us to use the Swiffer wet jet product on the floor. Now they are saying that the Swiffer product is a bad product to use on the floor and caused the cupping. They also are saying that the inspection revealed a high moisture content in the floor... read more

After paying top dollar for hardwood floors and installation with RiteRug I discovered that installation was contracted out to what appeared to be "handyman" type workers. I noticed that in one room it was always cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I thought maybe the vents needed cleaning so made arrangements to have that done. It was at this time I discovered that the floor installers had literally installed the floor OVER the vents and just replaced vent covers over the hardwood!! I called RiteRug and was told someo... read more

Rite rug is a scam! We bought a hard wood floor 3.5 years ago and it’s destroyed. We said we had dogs and the salesman was like, NO PROBLEM. It’s a very hard wood. Now it is damaged so far down that it cannot be refinished. Rite rug and the manufacturer both say “oh that’s the wood, it’s very soft. This is a dog problem, you should never have bought this type”. They won’t fix it, won’t replace boards (even when I have some original wood left). They say they can’t help. Sorry. Since when is a company so corrupt, and out for a... read more

If you would like your small home improvement project done quickly and incorrectly this is the place to be. I recently built a home where I wanted LVT Laminate flooring installed on June 21st 2018 they came to perform the work. long story short it is wrong and peeling up less than a month later and getting someone to respond is actually worse than pulling teeth.

Rite Rug Flooring in **********, SC has given me the worst customer service I’ve gotten in my life. As a new home owner, I was eager to have a bathroom tile replaced that had cracked a few months after the home was built. The Rite Rug company scheduled a 4 hour time window to arrive at my home. After 5 1/2 hours, I called and spoke with the receptionist several times and requested that the Workman is called to ask for an update. No updates were given and the receptionist kept telling me “I’ll call you right back” which she n... read more

If I could pick 0 stars I would. What started out as a good experience with Rite Rug has just gotten uglier and uglier. Our sales rep Jim was great. Very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. That's where it ends. We had over 3,000 sq feet of carpet installed for around $14k. We felt great about the quality of the carpet that we chose, and felt lucky to be able to have it installed in our new house before we moved in -- so we didn't have to worry about paying to move furniture around. First warning. No one comes out after... read more

I am concerned how this company has an A+ rating with the BBB. We moved into our house at the end of 2014 (new build) and had rite rug out to the house within 18 months. The carpets are pulling up and wearing horrible (and we paid for the upgraded padding). When the guy came out to inspect he told us this is how carpets work and you shouldn't expect more than 5 years because of the glue. He told me it was past the 1 year warranty so he couldn't try to stretch it to fix the 'rumples'. Honestly he couldn't get out of the house... read more

We purchased a home through ********* and upgraded to high traffic carpet and heavy-duty pad. After 3m the carpet was wearing horribly, and you could just look down and see the seams everywhere. We put it on our 6m warranty and Rite Rug sent two Spanish speaking gentleman that couldn't speak to my wife and they didn't do anything. I waited until our 1yr warranty, and asked that someone come take a look and talk to my wife and I about the issues. A man came to the house and told us there is no such thing as an invisible seam ... read more
