While they did a decent job on the tilework they left without putting the toilet back in place, the trim work stacked in the shower and a mess that took a couple of hours to clean up. The drive was left in a mess. It and the road in front of our house will have to be power washed. I have left 3 messages yet none return calls.
If you would have asked us a week ago, we would have been giving a zero star review due to the terrible service we received from Steve B****** at the Lewis Center store. We stopped in on September 17, 2019 and purchased a remnant carpet that was approximately 13 x 12. We asked for it to be cut down to 7 x 9 and paid an extra $50.40 for the 7 x 9 rug to be finished with a sewn binding around the border. The sale was easy -- we had a couple of issues, which were ultimately resolved, however follow-up from the sales person was almost non-existent. There was no follow-up, almost no call backs, and the "promise" the issue was being handled wasn't necessarily the case. We finally started working directly with customer service because of the total lack of service we weren't receiving from the Newark store. We had new tile (floating floor) installed in our kitchen and entry way in February, 2018. The tile took 12 hours to install. In May, 2018, we noticed gaps where the tiles snapped together and contacted the company. An installation manager was dispatched and said it was not an installation issue, it was faulty product from Shaw. Shaw sent a manufacturer's rep who said it was not an issue with the product, it was an issue with the support beams of our floor. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They have been to my house four times and still haven't gotten my carpet installation correct. On the initial installment, the installers left the strip exposed with the nails on the stairs where it not only looked terrible but it was a health hazard. When I called to get someone to come back and fix this problem, it was very difficult to get the company to schedule an appointment. My family ordered new carpet for our entire house in august 2018. It was installed without a problem but it had excessive shedding which we were not told could happen beforehand. A Rite Rug inspector came out 4 months after it was installed because of the excessive shedding and we were told that the carpet was likely defective. We were told that Rite rug would contact the manufacturer to begin a claims process. The claim was submitted January 24th and I was told it can take up to 45 days. BEWARE....I went to Rite Rug in Lewis Center to get a second estimate on getting my hard wood floor installed. I honestly didn't like the smug and arrogance attitude of the guy when I walked in...but I sat down with the store manager named Paul and talked with him. Would like to leave 0 stars but that was not an option. We had our floor installed on December 2, 2017. We had everything off of the floor and paid to have our large sectional couch and kitchen appliances moved. The installers complained the job was taking so long was because they had to move everything. That was the least of our worries... My sales person was amazing at helping me pick flooring (LVP and carpet) and tile. Good eye, knowledgeable, patient. All looked great after installing... So I thought. Shower floor is not spaced properly... even after it being redone twice because the grout wasn't drying correctly. Bench tiles in shower aren't level and water pools. Furniture leaves a very obvious dent in the floor. I had to have LVP planks replaced due to scratches which you can feel because they're set lower.
