Rooms were nice. Shoutout to my therapist Ali Grant, one of my favorite nurses Christina V, The best ta Keita, and the person who held me all together while I was here, Jen W. in the gym. Overall, there\'s some things you guys can work on. But hey, i\'m still breathing so there\'s that! Off to a sober life!
Gym Jenn and nurse Christina are a breath of fresh air
I was extremely nervous about leaving the state with 2 young children at home to attend rehab and i now believe it was one of the best decisions i have ever made. I was very happy with the program and i feel that I will now have the tools i need to stay sober when i return home.
River Oaks was my life saver. without the staff the groups just the people I would no be where I am today. I have finally found my voice. My true person. From the bottom of my soul thank you for giving me my life back.
I really enjoyed my time at River Oaks. I came in totally broken and bruised and the community that exists are RO loved me until I could stand back up again. I was a Big Brother and a Peer Leader during my stay and the responsibility helped me grow and realize who I actually am. The staff is amazing. I gained so much from LGBT Process Group. I would just like to acknowledge how wonderful the facilitators and faculty for the love and support they have showered me with during my stay here at RiverOaks. I was skeptical of doing a rehabilitation experience at first but from the moment i stepped into that van with Matt, i believe was his name, my anxiety completely vanished. Im so happy I came here. Everyone has been so helpful through this big step I made. I finally found Tara again and I am extremely grateful for this program.
Therapist were awesome, especially Karah, Hirely, and Demetrius. Housekeeping staff, Tina and Isabel were great at their job. Other housekeeping staff could take a little more time and clean properly to keep down illness transmission. Chef Vinnie and Angie in the kitchen were amazing. Sarge, Frank, Pete, Rosby, Christian, Mamie, and Keita were awesome TA\'s and always wiling to go the extra mile or lend an ear to a client.
